MITMondays: Where is Big K.R.I.T.?
It seems Big K.R.I.T. has been on a bit of a hiatus since parting ways with Def Jam. Ever since the release of It's Better This Way back in 2015, I've been waiting for a new project from Big K.R.I.T. Being that he is no longer an artist on the Def Jam roster, I thought I would be getting a new project sooner rather than later. K.R.I.T. dropped the 12 for 12 freestyles which I thought were going to serve as an appetizer for an upcoming project.
Quite frankly I was wrong. After the 12 for 12 series, video surfaced of K.R.I.T. and Curren$y on a possible joint mixtape entitled Lacs and Chevys.
With the rapid pace Spitta puts out music, I was sure the project was right around the corner. Once again, I was wrong. Being that there is no project here one can only imagine the work K.R.I.T. is putting in
Outside of Live from the underground, K.R.I.T.'s discography is flawless. From K.R.I.T Wuz Here and King Remembered in Time to Cadillactica, K.R.I.T has delivered quite a few gems. I personally want a project that serves as sequel to Cadillactica. I love how he took on a trip through out the project. Starting from Kreation and guided to the end of time. One can only hope he continues to provide timeless lyrics over beats that will make your sub rattle. As Always....
